Honestly, I started writing this song so long ago and It was not easy to finish. I wrote the chorus on my 25 birthday driving through Melville, Saskatchewan. The sun was setting, it was one of those moments where you think you've made it to where you were supposed to be, and home and life was so many days behind me I felt like it hardly existed. I'll never forget that feeling. I brought the song home and literal years later I brought it to the band to mess around with. I never thought it could be a rock song, to be honest. But I love it more now than I ever did.

I hope people find some hopefulness in this song. Even when you feel like there's nothing left in what you left behind; Going home is always an option.
